NVIDIA Ray Tracing and DLSS: now 130 titles are supported and more

The number of titles compatible with the latest NVIDIA technologies such as DLSS and Ray Tracing continues to grow for an even better gaming experience

NVIDIA announces that more than 130 creative games and applications now support NVIDIA RTX acceleration technologies, including RT Core-accelerated ray tracing, NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) capabilities, and Tensor Core-accelerated AI. Additionally, NVIDIA Reflex latency reduction technology now supports 12 of the 15 best competitive shooter games. Since the launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX GPUs two years ago, which introduced a number of technologies that have radically transformed PC gaming and content creation, NVIDIA has worked closely with game developers, application manufacturers, and industry standardization bodies to make the most of these innovations and create a new standard for PC gaming and content creation apps. Matt Wuebbling, vice president of global marketing at GeForce, NVIDIA, said:

RTX has set a new standard, thanks to NVIDIA’s ray tracing and DLSS that push image quality and performance to previously unimaginable levels. Developers aiming to deliver the best PC gaming experience possible rely on NVIDIA technologies to achieve this.

NVIDIA Ray-Tracing and DLSS: Support continues to grow

The list of gaming franchises, game graphics engines, game developers, game publishers, and hardware / peripheral manufacturers using NVIDIA’s pioneered gaming technologies is very extensive. Currently over 60 games support ray tracing or DLSS, and another 20 titles have adopted NVIDIA Refle technologyx.

NVIDIA’s DLSS is capable of increase performance by up to double while maintaining crisp and clear image quality. For this reason, industry experts have dubbed this technology “black magic”, which overcomes the trade-off between performance and image quality – an obstacle that GPU manufacturers have always faced. The adoption of the DLSS was very rapid; in fact, the technology supports the Unreal Engine and Unity Engine, numerous private game engines and over 50 titles. Among the best lineups of video game franchises that use DLSS to offer a new level of graphics are Battlefield, Call of Duty, Control, Crysis, Cyberpunk, Death Stranding, DOOM, Final Fantasy, Fortnite, Marvel Avengers, Metro, Minecraft, Monster Hunter, Outriders, Red Dead Redemption, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, Tomb Raider, War Thunder, Watch Dogs, Wolfenstein and many more.

As an integral part of the ecosystem NVIDIA Studio, another 70 content creation and design applications support RTX-accelerated ray tracing, DLSS or AI functionality, come Super Resolution in Adobe Photoshop, Magic Mask in Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve e AI Audio Noise Removal in OBS.

COMPUTEX 2021 announces many new RTX games

The international event “COMPUTEX” which takes place this week sees protagonist an avalanche of new RTX games on the way. Among the titles presented during the NVIDIA keynote that will support both ray tracing and DLSS are: The Ascent, DOOM Eternal, DYING : 1983, Icarus, LEGO Builder’s Journey e The Persistence. Furthermore, among the new games that will enjoy accelerated performance thanks to the adoption of DLSS there are Red Dead Redemption 2 e Rainbow Six Siege.

The rapid spread of RTX technologies marks a pivotal moment for the gaming industry and represents one of the most popular and quickly adopted innovations in the history of PC technologies. RTX technologies have quickly become ubiquitous in the greatest contemporary games, and the most popular titles of all time are no exception, as are the most popular battle royale and RPG. For the benefit of creators and broadcasters, RTX stands speeding up the best application for photography – Adobe Photoshop, the best video editing application – Adobe Premiere Pro, the best application for broadcast – OBS, and all major 3D renderers.

NVIDIA Reflex now supports 12 of the 15 best competitive shooter games

NVIDIA Reflex is a suite of technologies that measures and optimizes system latency in competitive games and improves PC responsiveness, making it easier for players to target opponents and react to their shots. Some time ago it was announced that Reflex would be coming up CrossFire HD, Escape from Tarkov, Naraka: Bladepoint e War Thunder. Just nine months after its launch, NVIDIA announces that 12 of the 15 most popular competitive shooters now support Reflex, including Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty: Warzone, Destiny 2, Enlisted, Fortnite, Overwatch , Rainbow Six Siege, Rust and Valorant.
