Red Dead Redemption 2: Nvidia porta ray tracing e DLSS

Graphics card manufacturer announces massive improvements for the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2: ray tracing and DLSS coming soon!

Among the many beneficiaries of Nvidia’s new technologies, Red Dead Redemption 2 received honor treatment in the latest presentation of ray tracing e DLSS by the graphics card manufacturer. Despite being a less “contemporary” game than others, during the conference the Rockstar title received its own space outside of the initial roundup. You can see for yourself the result in the video we have included below, where the western-themed open world adventure shines with light… no longer its own, but projected from another source.

We briefly explain what the two novelties consist of, before delving further into the implications they entail for Red Dead Redemption 2. The first, as we have now been able to recall several times, consists of realistic lighting in real time, in which it is a source within the game a project it. In the case of DLSS, or “Deep Learning Super Sampling”, the literal “deep learning super sampling” translates into a marked improvement inartificial intelligence. You can see the result for yourself below.

The undoubted and authentic Rockstar masterpiece continues to amaze today for the details that are still discovered years after its release. It surprises us, therefore, to imagine that there is still room for improvement. The two new graphics cards announced by Nvidia today they are arriving this Thursday (June 3) and the next (June 10), but the shortage of components will make them probable object of touting. If nothing else, one wonders which of Take-Two Interactive’s 62 games will make use of this interesting new technology, especially the papabile Grand Theft Auto VI.
