OPPO, world leader in smart devices, renews the appointment with its international mobile photography competition for 2024: OPPO imagine IF Photography Awards. Every year, the initiative rewards the most original and creative photos taken with OPPO smartphones around the world.
This year’s competition boasts an exceptional jury, made up of members of the famous Magnum Photos agency, Hasselblad masters, a National Geographic photographer and other prominent personalities from the photographic world, who will select the best works to award a first prize of $24,000i.e. the possibility of exhibiting one’s art in international exhibitions.
The nine categories included in the competition
The Imagine IF Photography Awards 2024 propose nine different categories, including Landscape, Portrait, Colors, Unfading Moment, Fashion, Snapshot, Light, Travel, and Collection. Each category aims to stimulate users to tell their most engaging stories and emotions through the lens of OPPO smartphones.
To enrich the competition with different perspectives and vast experience, OPPO involved in the jury of the final stage of the competition Steve McCurryone of the most iconic photographers of contemporary photography, together with the National Geographic photographer Michael Yamashitathere teacher Hasselblad Tina Signesdottir Hultto Magnum Photos member Alec Soth and other famous photographers.

This year’s awards include a first prize of $24,000 for the winner of the OPPO imagine IF Master (Gold Award)as well as the possibility of exhibiting your work in international exhibitions such as Paris Photo and becoming an OPPO Photographer with priority access to special events.
There are also four OPPO Silver Awardten OPPO Bronze Award and five Youth Award. Added to these are four Honorable Mentions for each of the nine categories, demonstrating OPPO’s commitment to valorizing a wide range of photographic talent. The winners of all categories will receive cash prizes, latest generation OPPO devices and the opportunity to be exhibited internationally.
