Oppo Reno8 Pro and Reno8 5G, quality camera
The front camera is a sensor where smartphone brands often go to savings: not Oppo. In fact, the brand has jointly developed con Sony the IMX709 sensor, redesigned with a brand new RGBW pixel matrix which contains additional white pixels. This way you will have 60% more light, for more detailed and less noisy photos.
Instead the sensor IMX766 is 1 / 1.56 inch in size with technology Integrated DOL-HDR and All Pixel omnidirectional PDAF. This allows you to create videos with great dynamism while retaining original colors and details.
Coupled with quality hardware there is also technology. Oppo has in fact created the powerful NPU MariSilicon X, with a process a 6 nm and a DSA architecture. It allows you to do up to 18 trillion operations per second (18 TOPS), a very powerful artificial intelligence. But also efficient, with 11,6 TOPS per watt. This way you can shoot great videos even at night 4K Ultra e 4K Ultra HDR.
The Pro model can indeed shoot video 4K Ultra Night Video, with noise reduction to give you quality video even in the dark. While the DOL-HDR function allows you to synthesize frames at short and long exposures in a single image.
Instead the front camera allows you to take perfect portraits thanks to the mode AI Portrait Retouchingg, which exploits 193 facial recognition points to identify facial features and remove imperfections (as seen in the photograph above).
And the news is not over yet. We can’t wait for the August 31 to find out what other news Oppo will announce at the dedicated event. What do you think about it? Tell us in the comments.
