Polaroid Now +, the new analog instant camera with a smart soul
The new camera, which has just been launched for 149,99 euro, it’s essentially an updated version of last year’s Polaroid Now. This time there is a new coloring Blue Grey (in addition to black and white) that abandons the company’s rainbow-colored stripe for a more subdued look. Polaroid has also integrated the camera’s light sensor into the lens to accommodate the different filters. In addition to the main functions of autofocus, dynamic flash and self-timer, the camera is now equipped with a tripod socket.
The camera is also equipped with smart functions, thanks to the Bluetooth which allows you to connect to your smartphone and use the dedicated app. Physical filters are also now included in the box.
Furthermore, Polaroid has given way to improvements on the software side. L’app Polaroid, available for both iOS and Android, now boasts a new design with new features including the tripod mode and “aperture priority”, designed to give you greater control over depth of field and long exposures. You can also switch between light painting, double exposure and manual mode.
The Polaroid Now + camera is currently only available online via Polaroid, priced at 149,99 euro, but from September 19 it can also be purchased from authorized physical resellers.
