During the London Games Festival, a user won a virtual photography award with a screenshot of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Red Dead Redemption 2 for Best Virtual Photography
The London Games Festival ended yesterday (April 10), which for the occasion organized a competition as Virtual Photographer of the Year. The competing works were exhibited around Trafalgar Square, London. It was the winner Joe Manziesa user who proposed a screenshot from Red Dead Redemption 2, in which we see a figure on horseback silhouetted against the characteristic sunset of the Rockstar Games videogame.
“The challenge celebrates a new artistic medium in the field of virtual photography, in which creators can bring video game design to life. From a breathtaking landscape to an intimate portrait, from a small street to abstract architecture or from historical fantasy to science fiction ”reads the description of the initiative promoted by the London Games Festival. The competition was supported by Nvidia Studio and The Fourth Focus. The latter also provided the evaluations of the contents in the competition. All submitted jobs have been collected in a Google Drive folder. Participants included other screenshots from RDD2, Horizon Forbidden West and The Last Of Us Part 2.
