In a tweet Elon Musk said that Tesla is working to make all Steam games work and not just specific titles on cars. With this he clarifies that Valve’s gaming platform and therefore the entire library must become playable and not just some platform-specific titles. In addition to this, Musk appears to confirm that Cyberpunk 2077 will be playable on the highly anticipated Cybertruck, and he thinks this is a great game.
We’re working through the general case of making Steam games work on a Tesla vs specific titles. Former is obviously where we should be long-term.

Tesla integrates an ideal hardware system to play all the games in the Steam library
It has long been possible to play certain games on Tesla cars via the Tesla Arcade game platform. For the moment, this is a collection of old classic games, such as Asteroids, Missile Command and more recently Sonic the Hedgehog from 1991. However, it will also be possible to play graphically demanding games, because the revamped Tesla Model S and X offers a APU AMD Ryzen con GPU RDNA 2.
At the unveiling of the updated Tesla Model S and X in January 2021, the automaker had already said that it would be possible to play games like The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 on the integrated 17-inch dashboard screen.
CEO Elon Musk also revealed that Tesla’s new computer has more storage to run multiple games on the platform at the same time.
The videocardz site compared the specifications with existing consoles, showing that the hardware available on the Tesla actually matches the specifications of the games.
Recently, there has been some fuss over the play feature in Tesla cars when it was revealed that occupants in the United States could also play while driving.
Under the pressure of US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Tesla has decided to disable this feature The latter is actually meant for passengers, but drivers could use it quite easily too. Passenger Play was available from December 2020, before games could only be played when the car was parked.
