Features of the dream car

The lighting is a key element in the design of CUPRA DarkRebel, starting with that of logo which highlights the dialogue between material and immaterialshowing how light can enhance colors and materials and transform the transparency of crystalline elements into solid digitally colored sculptures.

DarkRebel’s bold, sharp lines are accentuated by the iconic CUPRA triangular luminous signature emerging from the bodywork, giving life to the car. The lighting concept is based on the decomposition of the CUPRA logo into three triangles, which are then applied to the daytime running lights (DRL, Daytime Running Lights).

The backbone of the car is made of material crystalline and, like the keel of a sailboat, it connects the front to the rear of the CUPRA DarkRebel. This concept emphasizes the vehicle’s progressive design and enhances its sports-inspired appeal.

Sinuous surfaces and sharp lines create tension in the design, expressing a combination of energy and determination. All underlined by the enigmatic fluid color of the bodywork. The flowing deep purple hue evolves and changes as the ambient light brushes against the vehicle’s bodywork, enhancing its purposeful stance and defining the DarkRebel as a sports car made to be driven.
