Let’s start this now WebAnimator Plus 3 review and we discover the “big brother” of go, much more complete and suitable for those who have basic knowledge of graphics programs.
A classic interface
As mentioned above, this software is not really suitable for those who do not have a minimum of knowledge regarding graphics programs. This can be understood at first glance after starting it. The main layout in fact takes us to a workbench divided mainly into an upper and a lower worktop. The upper one is characterized by a player with a preview of the work done, in which every single change made will be shown, and by the various panels concerning the objects, their properties and so on.
The lower floor, on the other hand, is the actual workbench, the one where our animation will come to life step by step. Of vital importance in this portion of the interface is the timeline representing the main tool and the fundamental means of orientation for the design of our animations. We are therefore faced with a very classic interface and on which it will not be possible to make changes.
In fact, it will not be possible to move and interchange the various work panels, forcing the user to adapt to the software, contrary to what it should be. The only applicable change is the distribution between the upper and lower work area. In fact, it will be possible to increase or decrease one of the two as desired to give more importance to the preview or to the general picture of all the changes made.
Few Panels, Multiple Features – WebAnimator Plus 3 Review
There are only a few panels in the program interface. This guarantees a clean layout and more user friendly, easy to interpret and in which the user will hardly be able to get lost. Everything was made possible thanks toexcellent space management with the various tabs that allow you to manage multiple forms in a single panel without clogging up the workspace. Very important in this regard is the one on the right of the top.
In fact, through this panel it will be possible manage all the generalities of the file first of all and, scrolling gradually between the various tabs, too every little aspect of the various elements that make up our animation. The first is in fact dedicated exclusively to the project itself. Here you can choose the size of our GIF and the preloading ability, which will be very useful if you decide to upload the animation on your personal site or on third party sites.
We then move on to tab Scene, where it will be possible to set parameters relating to the latter for each scene present. Also important is the JavaScript function which will allow you to add functions using the Java language directly. Next we find that Elements, where it will be possible manage every single parameter of the inserted element in order to create the effects we want while designing. If we want instead insert pre-set effects on our elements, then all we have to do is move to the next tab.
Knowledge is important, but… – WebAnimator Plus 3 Review
Obviously, to create really important animations you need to have excellent knowledge of graphics software and everything related to it. However, already with a minimum of base you can carry out some pretty good projects ranging from simple moving images to something more complex such as small GIFs with music and buttons that refer to the online pages of your interest.
The latter in particular require a minimum of knowledge of HTML language. However, even in this case, the problem can be solved simply with a Google search, which allows us to find what is right for us. If, on the other hand, you want to create a slightly more complex project with various scenes – perhaps for a presentation of various products – do not be afraid. Also in this case the developers have prepared some basic templates that will allow anyone to develop their idea in comfort.
In short, basic knowledge is important, if you want to create a project from scratch and one of a kind, however they are not essential when you already have templates and effects ready to use. One of the small sore points that you will find in this review on WebAnimator Plus 3 comes from the latter. In fact, although optimally set up to provide a help to less experienced users, element templates and animations are very limited, thus failing to guarantee excellent diversification if several projects are created. Conclusions
We have now reached the end of this review on WebAnimator Plus 3 and it is therefore time to draw some conclusions. All in all we are faced with very good software with truly important performances. The program presents itself visually optimized, with a clean workspace. This guarantees a very user friendly experience, although it is not possible to modify the layout by positioning the various panels according to the user’s needs.
Making custom animations won’t be difficult. With a minimum of basic knowledge it will in fact be possible to untangle freely between the various settings and create your own personal project. However, if you don’t know anything about it, don’t despair. Templates and effects of pre-set elements come to your rescue, although they are slightly too few to be able to create multiple projects all completely different from each other.
A final clarification, before ending this review on WebAnimator Plus 3, must be made regarding the rendering of the program. The latter in fact has a sweet and sour taste which, although it does not affect the computer resources in the slightest, it turns out to be really too slow. Wouldn’t it have been better to use a little CPU or video card to significantly reduce time? It will be possible to export the project either as file HTML that like GIF.
