Through a press release, Koei Tecmo has unveiled the first gameplay trailer of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, complete with the announcement of a playable demo at TGS 2022
A dark fantasy, soulslike, intense and bloody battles, evocative world history: what comes to your mind? There are many titles belonging to the derivative genre from the From Software series produced every year. Lately we have seen Thymesia arrive, by heart the next that comes to mind is Mortal Shell, while Steelrising has shown itself with a demo version “given” to all those who have pre-ordered the game. All suggestive and well made, even with their distortions, and all deriving from him, the progenitor: Dark Souls. Recently, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja (Nioh, Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden) unveiled the first video material entirely dedicated to the gameplay of Wo Long: Fallen Dynastyanother exponent of the genre currently in development and very promising.
The new trailer shows a dark and demon-plagued version of the Three Kingdoms and lets you take a look at the sword-based action and the use of Chinese martial arts, where every movement flows gracefully between offensive and defensive maneuvers. Currently Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty è in sviluppo per Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 e PC and will be published in early 2023, available on day one on Game Pass (console and PC). Koei Tecmo also announced the world debut of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty at the Tokyo Game Show 2022 which kicks off on September 15 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The first playable demo will be available on the Koei Tecmo booth show floor. All those who try the game will receive an original button badge, while those who finish the demo will also receive an original t-shirt (while stocks last). Additionally, the game’s producers, Fumihiko Yasuda and Masaaki Yamagiwa, will appear on Koei Tecmo’s official TGS program and debut on a stage never seen before during the broadcast.
