On September 25th and 26th “Ricomincio dai libri”, the book fair with free admission, will return to Naples
After the forced break caused by Covid-19, the fair will resume this year, which arrived at seventh edition. Two days dedicated to culture, reading and much more.
The fair | I restart from the books: the book fair in Naples
Born in 2014 from the union and idea of three associations: The shop of words, Librincircolo e Arenadiana.
The intent is to enhance a culturally rich territory by speaking of it, but often penalized by the absence of real publishing realities. It begins, therefore, as a point of union between those who create culture and those who want to do it, those who love being part of it and those who simply adore various cultural aspects.
The fair is a new beginning, a party, a moment of meeting, confrontation and growth. It proposes to authors, publishers and associations to get to know each other, thus nourishing a unique union of its kind.
Seventh edition | I restart from the books: the book fair in Naples
The location of the seventh edition of the fair changes radically. For the first three editions San Giorgio a Cremano was the designated place for the fair, which was subsequently moved to Naples.
As for this latest edition, however, the location used is the Principe di Napoli Gallery, historical and magical place. Give her 10.30 Everyone 21.30 it will be possible to experience events, presentations, workshops and wonderful moments.
The theme
The theme chosen this year is “now“. The artistic director of the fair and Neapolitan writer, Lorenzo Marone, explains the reason:
Now is the time for a confrontation, to reflect on what needs to be done for the tomorrow that we want different. Now is the time to be there, to participate, to be together and try to open new doors, to share ideas and projects, beauty and culture. Now is the time to focus on childhood, to give answers to our children. Recognize their present to refocus everyone’s future. Now, not later.
The manifesto of this theme, and of the fair itself, was also designed for this edition by Luca Carnevale.
Guests and gifts
Some of the guest writers of the Galleria Principe di Napoli Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 they will be: Erri De Luca, Nadia Terranova, Pif, Corrado de Rosa, Sabina Guzzanti.
It will also be honored Gianni Rodari with a workshop and a presentation of an illustrated book “The planet of the wrong words” e Mario Paciolla, a UN cooperator who died in Colombia last year.
I start over from the books
The name of the fair has never been more appropriate. Begin to live and get excited with books, with a free party able to involve adults and children, authors, readers or publishers.
