Yann Salmon Legagneur, Sony Europe’s Director of Product Marketing, Digital Imaging, points out: “Six years have passed since the release of the first Sony G Master F2.8 24-70mm lens and, in the meantime, customer needs have changed. We always listen to our community and built the new FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II zoom based on user feedback. Given the enormous popularity of the 24-70mm focal length, it was essential for us to keep improving, to complement our offer with the most advanced technologies applied to this type of lens that is so important to most users. Today we are delighted to introduce the smallest and lightest F2.8 standard zoom in the world. “
